“Chanukah on the Gulf Coast: Bringing Light and Dedication.“  Late last spring, our Tikkun Olam Committee decided to submit this as the title of a grant for which we were applying.  Even before the additional woes brought this summer by additional hurricanes, we knew there was still work to do in Louisiana and Mississippi, and we wanted to be able to help.  While we didn’t necessarily expect it, we were awarded a grant to help fund a trip for high school students, along with a few adults, to make this trek in order to do our share…
