Beth Pomerantz Education Series and Temple Beth El present Rabbi Lance Sussman discussing “Father Abraham: Lincoln and the Jews,” President Lincoln's extraordinary relationship with American Jews, on Sunday, April 19, 9:45 a.m. at Temple Beth El, 1836 Rohrerstown Rd, Lancaster. Join us weekly on Shabbat morning as we explore the mysteries and wonders of Torah, and discuss their meanings in our lives. All are welcome, dress is casual, no prior knowledge is necessary, and coffee is served. We begin at 9am and conclude at 10am (if there is a Bar or Bat Mitzvah) or 10:30am (including a short Shabbat morning service). Enter through the office doors on James Street. We meet in the large double classroom at the top of the stairs.
